Humankind have been created with such unique power in their minds and lives. We can all tend to live invincibly as super women and men.
We seem have our “inner phone booths”, within our own minds and hearts. Our humanity is converted into a type of heroism in our own perspectives, attitudes and lifestyles. Who wants to be weak, let alone boast in weakness?
S C R I P T U R E
If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness. The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, who is to be praised forever, knows that I am not lying. 2 Corinthians 11:30-31

The tone of this chapter reveals Paul’s frustration, even under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. He acknowledges his weaknesses, faults, limitations – yet challenging the Christians who appear to be gloating, comparing and measuring their lives against Paul, in a worldly way (v18).
Paul defends his position and teaching with boldness – as if to say…”yeah, I have many faults and weaknesses, but this I know…Jesus has put a godly jealousy in me for you…and I am called, anointed and am busting my butt to serve Jesus and you all!” But the point of his passionate tone is for the sake of truth, that they would not be deceived by satan and led away by false teachers.

There is a Righteous “Angry”
Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, Ephesians 4:26
I feel a righteous “angry” brewing and surfacing in my heart – for Paul in his situation, for me and us as Christians. We get poked at, made fun of, slapped around, ridiculed, tormented and even tortured to death…by others in opposition. Like Paul’s situation – even among our very own ranks of believers…judge, compare, criticize, etc.
Be careful Rod – your “Righteous ANGRY” can quickly shift into a sinful ANGER!
We are influenced, but not owned
By God’s grace and revelation, I am a warrior who will not put up with the “crap of ‘Christians’ and deceivers”…who are discounting – one another, being deceived by their own selfishness and boastings according to the world. The words and ways of other people can really have an effect on me. I know – I have control, power and authority to either allow or disapprove of anyone’s negative words or actions. But that fact is…people are influenced by others.
Only by God’s grace and power
My self examination finds me over-magnifying my weaknesses, inferior ways, lack of gifts and talents, my sinful struggles…! Stop that Rod…says the Lord! Amen!
I’m getting sick and tired of “us Christians” (including me!!!) who are being swayed by worldliness within us, seeking popularity, titles, accolades, comparing and measuring our talents, gifts, accomplishments and performance…with the world. Who gave EVERYONE, Christians and non Christians, their lives, gifts, talents, wisdom, etc…? God gives ALL…even non Christians their blessings of life and talents, etc.
Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me. Colossians 1:28-29 ESV
