I hope your January is going well. I’ve been thinking about my to-do list and goals for my health, faith, family and finances. UHG…! My to-do list include items that do not involve my goals. What about your day to day, yearly or …
CONTINUED FROM THE WEEKLY
… life goals? Do you try to align your day to day “to-do lists” with your life’s goals?
I have spiritual growth goals that I’m trying to align with my day to day and weekly to-do lists. Like… incorporating Scripture memory, studying Bible topics of interest and growing my relationship with our Godhead. I’ve set goals that include spending a certain amount of time in prayer or reading so many chapters of the Bible a day. But too often, my “to-do list” does not include my spiritual growth goals.
My encouragement is for us to not give up, be disappointed or set back in cultivating our spiritual goals. And keep trying to align and incorporate our goals with our daily or weekly to-do lists.
May Paul’s exhortation to Timothy encourage us to grow closer and stronger in our faith and love in Jesus. So guard your hearts… and time spent with Him. May we guard against the distractions of life, with the help from the Holy Spirit. May the sound teaching of the Holy Spirit through His word lead us to every day experiences in Jesus!

Knowing the kind of Christ follower I can be at times; complacent, fleshy, and focused on ME … I bet I would put a big smile on God the Father’s face if I acted more like a full-time Christian.
If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me. Luke 9:23 NLT
I know His love is unconditional and He accepts me no matter what, but maturity in my relationship with Jesus is expected…right?! One thing I must continue to commit to EVERY DAY is to give up my own way. That’s rough many times. But with God’s Spirit living in me, He is faithful to speak to and direct me one day, one moment at at time.
EVERYDAY JESUS 2025! This is my mantra and I hope you will include it as yours.
GOD IS TOV, all the time… and all the time, GOD IS TOV!
Men! We all need a community to grow closer to God!
