The Bible is a book unlike any other book*. This is because it is God’s word. Ah, but notice we didn’t capitalize the “w” in word? That’s because the one true Word of God is Jesus, and yet God’s word reveals God’s Word! Is this confusing? Maybe at first, but join us for Day Church where we study the Bible in more depth.
*Actually, the Bible is a collection of different books. Each book of the Bible has a literary genre, an intended audience, historical setting, and many other elements. We take a look at how all these elements are at work in our interpretation and implementation of the biblical text.
Growing our relationship with God alongside of each other is vital. We gather on Wednesdays at 6:45 – 8:30 PM at Pastor Rod and Beckie’s home (Kaimuki) outdoors under the ‘Ohana Tent.
