As we approach August (can you believe it?! August 2025 already!), my heart is stirring with expectation and eagerness for us to grow in our knowledge and understanding of God—through His Word!
We will begin a mini-series titled “YOUR WORD IS…!”
I will be teaching from Psalm 119. This power-packed Psalm of 176 verses speaks of the value and importance of God’s commandments. This Sunday, we will look at the themes of the first and last verses of Psalm 119. Verses 1-3 reads, “Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the LORD! Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart, who also do no wrong, but walk in his ways!…” and verse 176 which implies how easy it is for all of us to slip or backslide in our relationship with God: “I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek your servant, for I do not forget your commandments.”
When our desires partners with our devotion and discipline, we become stronger, more durable disciples of Jesus! Bring your Word, pick up your notebook/pen at the Welcome Table, and let’s grow mānoa in Jesus through His Word together!
