I can’t wait to see and be with y’all this Sunday! We have a special guest, Kahu Kiha Pimental! Of course he’s a great shepherd and pastor but we all recognize who the G.O.A.T. Pastor is: JESUS!
A while ago, I had to google G.O.A.T. LOL! If you didn’t know, G.O.A.T. stands for Greatest of All Time! Former quarterback Tom Brady is noted to be one of the G.O.A.T. quarterbacks. Basketball stars Lebron James or Stephen Curry are G.O.A.T.’s!
Our God and Savior Jesus, is the G.O.A.T. of all gods! He is the Great Shepherd of His sheep! The only God that came to earth in the form of a human, was crucified and raised to life and is alive forever! To Him be all honor (Hebrews 13). HE IS THE G.O.A.T.!
“For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the LORD made the heavens.”
Psalm 96:5“All worshipers of images are put to shame, who make their boast in worthless idols; worship Him, all you gods!”
Psalm 97:7
There are many differrent gods in this world. Not to mention that we can create our own gods – like self image, money, hobbies, etc. Christians can make their churches, ministries or pastors little gods or idols, if we aren’t careful! We all know that Jesus is the Greatest Pastor of All Time! He remains to be. May we all fix our hearts and learn from Jesus. How’s your hang out time with Jesus? What is He teaching or saying to you today? May He “equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight.” (Hebrews 13:21)
