May the Lord favor you and your loved ones, one day at a time into 2026!
“And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect.“
1 John 4:17a NLT
Hi, friends! Wowzah—it’s 2026! How are you approaching this new year? Do you have new year traditions, make new year’s goals or resolutions?
For the past five to six years, the message on my heart is for all of us to receive a New Year’s revelation and not putting all our effort in making New Year’s resolutions. I’ve made resolutions with good intentions—spiritual, health, relationship goals, etc. I’m pretty diligent the first couple months and then … life gets busy, my motivation fades, and I slip back into my old ways. Grit, discipline and commitment are vital to making resolutions. But as Christ followers, wouldn’t you agree we need to walk in more of God’s revelation?
I’m not discouraging setting goals and making resolutions, not at all. But my past roller coaster experiences involving resolutions lead me to more intentionally and purposefully seek God’s presence. And may it be so throughout my day. Lord, help me! I love John’s life-giving quote: ”And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect.”
As we step into 2026, my prayer is that we would all grow mānoa with God, living closely in Him with a perfect, maturing love. How would you suggest we grow in revelation? As a church? Please let me know if you have any thoughts or revelations or how God is personally leading you to grow in revelation.
Just now!!! As I’m writing! I’m hearing this strong impression in my heart!!
“Rod, live in Me and love through Me! Stay close to Me. I am always with You whether you are thinking about Me or not. I am present and will lead your heart, day by day. I got you.”
THANK YOU, HOLY SPIRIT!
What is He saying to you now, today? Let’s tune in to God—mediate on His words spoken to us in our hearts, conscience, thoughts, and of course, when we spend time in His Word! I’m looking forward to talking story with you to hear what He is showing you!
THANK YOU, GODHEAD, for YOUR REVELATIONS everyday, throughout the week!
What are you grateful to God for today? What can you share with others about God that would make Him smile and encourage others? Let’s share it! Let’s testify, sing and praise our Godhead!
