“You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everybody. You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.”
2 Corinthians 3:2-3
WOWZAH!
Imagine that… your life being referred to as a “letter from Christ”!
When people look at you, they are reading what Jesus has written on your heart. Your words, your actions, your character—they all become part of the letter and story He is sharing through your life.
Paul reminds us that this isn’t about rules carved in stone or religious performance—it’s about the Spirit of the Living God etching His grace, love, and truth deep into our hearts. My prayer is that our Bible Revival book study will not become an “achievement” or an intellectual accomplishment where we simply know more about the Bible. Head knowledge in not our goal, but a more intimate, personal relationship with our Godhead is!
This was Paul’s prayer, and it is ours as well:
“… asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God.”
Colossians 1:9b–10, NIV
May the pages of the Bible be transcribed to a letter from Jesus, written in our hearts so we may live to bring honor to Jesus! Let’s grow mānoa in and with our Godhead together!
