Hoʻōla Hou iā Kalauao
Join us for a day filled with fun and purpose! Come help at a loʻi kalo (taro farm) on the third Saturday of every month!

ʻAiea near Sumida Farm
What to Bring:
- Clothing that is able to get dirty
- Boots or covered shoes recommended for those doing work outside of the loʻi. High zip up tabis, high socks, or barefoot + slippers for after for those going into the loʻi
- Water bottle, snacks (We’ll have a water cooler.)
- Hat
- Sunblock (but don’t put on your legs)
- Change of clothes and towel if you want to change before leaving
- A dish or food item to share for lunch (If can can, no can no worry.)
- Mess kit (reusable plate/bowl/utensils for lunch)
