My “father-sons” trip with Kai and Koa last weekend was memorable and unforgettable!
And… I got to watch service last Sunday from Las Vegas! What a blessed and powerful gathering it was! I’m so grateful for Rodney and Steve leading worship and Malia teaching an encouraging and enlightening message!
My heart is overwhelmed with gratitude for ALL OF OUR WONDERFUL VOLUNTEERS, for ALL OF YOU who call NHM your church ‘ohana. I really missed being with you all!
My heart is also overwhelmed and burdened in prayer for our ‘ohana who are walking through challenges and in need of prayer.
Sometimes our hearts become overwhelmed in different ways: with gratitude, with aloha, and sometimes overwhelmed with worry, grief, or uncertainty.
Let’s keep our hearts and eyes on our God; when our hearts are overwhelmed, He hears our cries and leads us to trust Him.
“From the ends of the earth, I cry to you for help when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the towering rock of safety.”
Psalm 61:2 NLT
When life feels heavy, we don’t need to carry burdens alone. We are His created and He knows we are human and in need of a Rock that is higher! Jesus is our Rock — our place of safety, strength, and peace.
How are you doing? Feeling? Are you overwhelmed in any way? Let’s ask God for grace to be overwhelmed with gratefulness — in Him, for Him, through Him! And when we are overwhelmed with the cares of this world or carrying the burdens of those we love, let’s cry out to our faithful God, our Rock.
Dear Gracious Daddie God! We lift up our ‘ohana. For ALL OF THE FAMILIES REPRESENTED.
For the marriages on the rocks, individuals who are tired of living, those fighting depression, FOR ALL THOSE ON THE PRAYER LISTS OF OUR HEARTS. (Go ahead and say their names!) WE CRY OUT TO YOU, FAITHFUL and GRACIOUS ROCK. We turn to You, asking for Your sovereign, miracle-working, merciful and loving work of healing and provision.
