Our Story, For God’s Glory

I am so grateful for the friendships we are making — encouraging, growing together as Jesus ‘ohana.

While we continue to pray for those on our hearts and prayer lists, I believe even in the middle of so much hurt, there is still unshakable hope.  Our resurrection celebration continues everyday of our lives!

All around us — in our church, our families, our community, and our world — there are real needs, pains, and burdens. But as followers of Jesus, we choose to hope in our resurrected Lord!

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”
1 Peter 1:3 NIV

Our hope is not based on circumstances — it is rooted in our resurrected Jesus!  Our hope in Jesus is not just something we hold onto, it’s the presence of Jesus in our hearts and lives.

I sense God saying to us, “Don’t lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” (Rod paraphrase, 2 Corinthians 4:16-18)

Let’s continue to encourage each other to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus.  I am reminded that what we are living through is part of our story — for His glory.

God is still alive.  He is for us.  He loves us.  He is with us.

So we keep living. We keep praying. We keep believing. We keep loving. We keep showing up for one another.

Love y’all!
