This weekend, I am on a father-sons trip with Kai and Koa, checking off a “bucket-list” desire! We will be cheering on MMA legend and Hawai’i’s very own, Max “Blessed” Holloway, live in person at UFC 326! But the other “bucket-list” desire fulfilled is happening this Sunday at our church 🙂 Malia is delivering the...
Here’s what’s happening in the life of our church ‘ohana!
What do you personally think about or feel when you hear the words: humiliation, shame, being judged, sacrifice, or suffering? These words may conjure up experiences you faced or supporting a hurting friend or family member. Can you imagine Jesus, the Son of the Living God, enduring what He went through towards His crucifixion!? He...
Have you ever looked (or talked) down upon someone who disappointed you? How did you feel when someone mistreated you? The hard reality is that others can affect our thoughts and hearts. Or we “allow others” to affect us, don’t we? The hurt can turn into deep disappointment and bitterness if we’re not careful. And...
“God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.” 1 John 4:16b NIV Do you remember the story of Saint Valentine?  There were actually a few saints named Valentine or Valentinus. Matthew reminds us that the Kingdom of God has come through...

The Kingdom of God is not measured by our acts of righteousness but by our faith in the righteousness of Jesus. Jesus calls His followers salt...

It’s day 13 of our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting! If you are participating or not, I want to encourage you to be reminded God’s presence is with you no matter if you feel Him or not.  Our Scripture today is from Matthew 28:20, “Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have...
"So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family. Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. We are carefully joined together in him,...
