May our great and awesome Godhead favor you with His refreshing peace, grace, love and joy! After being a little impatient with my wife this week, I found myself looking at a plaque hanging in our kitchen where we were. The words from Galatians 5:22–23: The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience,...
Have you ever experienced God’s unexpected and amazing grace?  When I try to visualize and place myself at the scene where Jesus was being tortured towards His execution on the cross.  He prayed: “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” (Luke 23:34) Luke later writes of a surprising encounter. One...
Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you.” Luke 17:20-21 NIV What does it mean that “the kingdom of...

This Sunday, I’ll be teaching the “red letter” words of Jesus found only in the Gospel of Luke. It’s about an unexpected neighbor! When an expert in the law asks Jesus, “Who is my neighbor?” Jesus responds with a story so radical and unexpected, it would have completely shocked His audience. The Good Samaritan reveals...
"You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. 'For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.' And God will generously provide all you need. Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous." (2 Corinthians 9:7-8 NLT)
"So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family. Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. We are carefully joined together in him,...
God has poured out His solid, vast and deep love in our hearts by the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:8), and He calls us to SHOW GOD and SHARE HIS ALOHA.
